Senator Hirono, Senate Democrats Fight Republican Efforts to Gut Medicare & Medicaid

Ahead of a critical vote today, Senator Mazie K. Hirono (D-Hawaii) and Senate Democrats will call for the Senate to pass Senator Hirono and Senator Joe Donnelly’s (D-Ind.) amendment to prevent Congressional Republicans from privatizing Medicare and gutting Medicaid through the budget reconciliation process.
